GARLIC PORK LEG ESPAÑOLE

GARLIC PORK LEG ESPAÑOLE – This one! This dish is just perfect, yummy, and tempting. This new signature dish of Café Adriatico definitely set a projectile appearance in celebration of their 35th years in the industry.

The Garlic Pork Leg Spañole is a Spanish-style pork leg with fried whole garlic cloves (caramelized according to JimBry) and potatoes in olive oil, served with an herb sauce that looks like pesto but actually is parsley with a tangy mild taste. The pork and its dip complement each other to create a perfect chemistry!

U.S. TENDERLOIN STEAK SOLANA – Pan-fried and topped with seared onions and shiitake mushrooms. This dish is being served with very thin slices of buttered zucchini, mashed potatoes, as well as mild peppercorn sauce. JimBry enjoyed this dish a lot that he made me promise to order this again on our next visit.

BLUE MARLIN PROVENCALE (PHP 425)

BLUE MARLIN PROVENCALE (PHP 425)

BLUE MARLIN PROVENCALE – This dish is topped with tomato and caper sauce and served with Pilaf rice, a French style buttered rice. Missy is a sucker of sea foods but she said the preparation of this one does not impress her taste bud. She said one must have an acquired taste for tomato-based dishes in order to appreciate Blue Marlin Provencale. JimBry on the other hand enjoyed it, he said the blue marlin was cooked perfectly and the tomato-based sauce tasted heavenly.

BUTTERED VEGETABLES

OUR PLATE OF THOUGHTS

Missy: I promise I am coming back to Café Adriatico; maybe for one full meal or just for a cup of Chocolate Eh. More dishes are waiting for me, to savor, to enjoy, to write about.

JimBry: What a cozy place to dine in. I will be back to have dinner and grab a few local beers to round up the evening.
