Swensen’s Philippines

Ice cream is one of my comfort foods. Sundaes make me happy. Cold sweets make me giddy.

Not all ice cream however can live up to their promise of cheering up a person, but I know an ice cream parlor that will definitely bring out the sweetest smile from you – SWENSEN’S!

What’s with Swensen’s?

Swensen’s was established in 1948 in San Francisco, California. Through the years, they have mastered the art of impressing almost every single person that enters their parlor and have a taste of their products. Now, they already have more than 180 flavors of ice cream and they continue to expand the list of their sumptuous sweet offers in gourmet-quality and at reasonable prices. Because of the myriad flavour, one can definitely find best sundae that will satisfy his/her palette.

Flavors of Swensen’s

Set aside your worry when you enter Swensen’s store as their menu is filled with a wide array of ice cream varieties and sundaes. There are a lot to choose from and you will never run out of option.

When we went there, we were introduced to the six flavors of The Happy Sundae called Happy Rice Cream, Happy Green Tea, Happy Nutty, Happy Strawberry, Happy Brownie, and Happy Blueberry. Each costs only PHP 99 each. Affordable right? Head now to their store and take advantage of this promo!

Anyway, I ordered the Happy Nutty flavored sundae and I am not disappointed. It’s not too sweet and too creamy. That and the right amount of caramel and nuts make it taste so heavenly! After we finished our individual Happy Sundae, we ordered Earthquake next. The Earthquake is an amazing and incredible mix of eight ice cream flavors (you can choose your own flavor). What we got is a chocolate-based ice cream dish with chocolate-coated cherry, brownie bits, nuts, and chocolate syrup which costs PHP 655. Seven people attempted to finish the ice cream dish and failed! Why? Because we’re so full and already satisfied!

So if you are looking for one of the best ice cream shops in town, you can never go wrong with Swensen’s. It is definitely an awesome place to have desserts.
